Poppies between ice and wax

Ice and heat are a very common treatment to heal our body, I hope these poppies enjoy it.

First I froze the poppies then photographed them and printed on Hahnemuhle rice paper.  Finally, 

I brushed hot beeswax on them. The rice paper is thin so when the hot wax was brushed on

the paper became transparent.
