Working on a black and white flower series that I will mount on aluminum and paint with wax. They will

be so light weight and easy to hang on a wall.

Whimsical Portraits

Whimsical portrait practice - the possibilities are endless. It's fun taking online classes and

learning what techniques and materials others are using and finding my own favorites along the way.

Grid Garden Girls

My interpretation of a class I took called grid girls. These are drawings of my garden girls that I added

watercolor then stitched them to vintage paper. I painted them with wax before adding them to my journal.

Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life - Pablo Picasso

I discovered Jeanne Oliver's beautiful and inspiring online art classes. There are

so many talented artists and different classes no matter your experience level. Also, so many free

classes to choose from.   Spending time practicing art is a gift and brings so much joy.

Friday

This is "Friday" we are puppy raising her for Guide Dogs of America. She is the first puppy we have

raised and we are learning so much from her! We are supposed to be teaching her but truly she has

 taught us so much already.

We picked up Friday in November 2019 she was 8 weeks old.

Guide Dogs of America has a puppy cam on their website it just happened that I screen shot this to

send someone to show them the puppy cam and it ended up being one with Friday in it!

A photo of "F" litter first puppy class. They start attending classes at 9 weeks. These are Friday's

brothers and sister. Flicker, Fillmore, Frida, and Friday from left to right.

Doing some elevator training at the mall.

Puppy class training.

Stair training at the beach.

Relaxing after all those stairs.

Best Photo Editor

My absolute favorite photo editor is Exposure Software, formerly known as Alien Skin. They are so

easy to use and you see the preview to pick the look you want. There are so many amazing presets

some of my favorites are color film aged and polaroid. You then have so much control with adjusting

the preset to your liking with all the sliders. You can sign up for a free trial and see what you think.

They have so many tutorials to help you learn.
