First I froze the poppies then photographed them and printed on Hahnemuhle rice paper. Finally,
I brushed hot beeswax on them. The rice paper is thin so when the hot wax was brushed on
the paper became transparent.
Finally, I got to photograph some changing leaves in the fall. So glad this trip to Washington was during the fall and the leaves were changing into the brightest autumn colors I have ever seen since living in the desert doesn't compare to what I saw. The countryside and parks and botanical gardens were all so beautiful and colorful. I felt how peaceful it was out taking walks and photographing so grateful for every minute and so glad to record my trip with photographs.
